Kathryn Fox

Kathryn’s background training is in Fine Art. She completed her foundation studies at Leeds College of Art (now Leeds Arts University), BA (Hons) in Fine Art at Leeds Metropolitan University (now Leeds Beckett) and post graduate studies in site specific and socially engaged practice at Liverpool John Moores University. She also holds a PGCE from Leeds University. She is an experienced secondary school art teacher and has led workshops for people of all ages from the very young to the young at heart.
She takes an exploratory, playful approach in her printmaking, often combining several different processes and materials before arriving at the final printed outcome. Her printmaking experience is wide ranging, with a current focus on abstraction in screen printing and an interest in achieving the fine balance in her outcomes between spontaneity and measured control. She has exhibited her work and participated in art events locally, nationally and internationally.
A willingness to get messy and roll with it when it doesn’t go to plan are the most useful attributes you can bring to any workshop.
