Bronte Adam

Bronte Adam is a Gloucestershire born printmaker based in Sunny Bank Mills, an old textiles mill in West Yorkshire. Bronte studied Printed Textiles at Leeds Arts University and has gone on to work as an interior printed textile designer. Her career in textiles has informed her printmaking practice; her prints usually displays bold and stylised patterns of flora and fauna. When Bronte isn’t covered in printing ink, or cutting fine details into lino and woodblocks, she is out in the British countryside or at the coast. Her work is strongly influenced by this time taken in nature, she will often forage for particular plants to make her prints more accurate.
