A recent graduate from the University of Leeds, Bachittar ‘Bach’ Singh takes a playful approach to his work, exploring ideas through a combination of etching, mono-types, mono-prints, soft-ground, hard-ground, aquatint, sugar-lift aquatint and drawing.

His practice encompasses various subject matter however it is his process driven methods which guide his experimental approach to image making, often working with nature alongside mono-type to explore texture and mark-making. Bach has led art and well-being workshops, encouraging participants to allow ‘walking’ and ‘reflecting on nature’ into the creative process, using natural objects found whilst walking to draw.

His latest work involves travelling and illustrating street scenes and cityscapes from cities in England such as Birmingham and Leeds, to Europe in Palma de Mallorca and Amsterdam. He has also worked as an illustrator for ABA Art Lab in Palma de Mallorca, Spain.
