What is it?
An intaglio print process that uses recycled cartons to scratch in to, then ink, wiping ink off the high surfaces and then print using a press to apply pressure to take a print. You can also treat the cartons like collagraph plates, remove areas of the surface to create areas of darker tone. ( You can also print these plates in relief, giving a completely different image)

Who is it for?
KS3 and beyond
Another favourite of ours for GCSE students as it generates lots of prints that differ or can be altered during the course of the workshop. This gives students lots of development and prints to talk about what they changed and why. Printmaking is great for this as the act of making multiple prints allows more natural experimentation, which is also able to be cut in to, collaged and drawn back in to.
AO2 looking thin- this is the one for you.
