Summer Switch Off: Free Family Printmaking Sessions at the Creative Piazza

Switch off and STAMP! Step away from your screens and get your hands and feet inky as part of our Summer switch off. This week it’s all about stamping. Make your own foam stamps and use our growing stamp collection to tell a story. Or for the more adventurous, try stamping your foot print or shoe print on our collaborative piece. Printmaking fun for all ages.

Week 2 Roll

Switch off and ROLL! If you can roll it, we can print it. Bring your favourite toy cars, scooters and balls and lets roll  it in ink!

Week 3 Press

Switch off and PRESS! Step away from your screens and get your hands inky as part of our Summer switch off. This week we are pressing textures in to Gelli plates and pressing plasticine in to textures. Inky fun for all ages.

Week 4 Squeeze

Switch off and SQUEEZE! This week we will be squeezing ink through stencils, squeezing bubble wrap and tin foil and inking it up to produce some exciting prints. Print making fun for all ages.

Week 5 Stick

Switch off and STICK! Step away from your screens and get your hands inky as part of our Summer switch off. This week’s theme is STICK! We will be sticking materials on to collagraph plates, sticking foam shapes down to print from as well as sticking our art work up in our gallery to show off the wonderful work made over the summer, by YOU!
