Dorrie King
Variation on the Deconstruction
of a Georgian Chair 1/1
Letterpress/woodblock print
34.7 x 23.7 cm
Dorrie King’s work explores the deconstruction of her parents old antique chairs. The pieces of each chair have been sliced to the height of a woodblock or a lead type. She then sets various combinations of these wooden blocks into a chase and prints them as letterpress blocks.
