I make colourful, painterly screen prints on fabric and paper. Hand-drawn positives are used to process photographic screens and prints are sometimes developed through the use of hand-cut stencils and block printing. Colour is very important in my work and sometimes I just love to play with mark making, pattern and shapes to create abstract compositions. I am also interested in how print and especially printed textiles has been used to promote social consciousness.
