About artist

Layla is a freelance printmaker and illustrator from Hull. She works closely with clients on work that often has story-telling and community at its centre. Her projects have involved a variety of outcomes from animations, prints and zines to community art. Her work playfully combines printmaking and collage layered in the digital space. She is a tutor with Feral Art College teaching printmaking at the city centre location and has shown work across the North of England and was listed as one of the ‘Ones to Watch’ in Sunny Bank Mills recent talent spotting exhibition.
