Spend a weekend learning screen printing in our professionally equipped workshop with artist and printmaker Clare Caulfield. Learn how to translate hand-drawn designs and photographs into multi-coloured screen prints on paper using the photo-stencil technique.
Ideal for beginners or those who want to refresh their memory, this course will cover everything you need to get you started with screen printing, including basic printing with paper stencils, preparing artwork for print, coating, exposing and developing screens, printing using water-based inks, layering colours, and registration techniques. By the end of the weekend you will have a thorough understanding of the screen printing process, and be confident with using our specialist equipment to create your own multi-coloured screen prints. Explore this diverse medium in a friendly learning environment using our excellent facilities.
