Specially designed to coincide with her solo exhibition here at WYPW, Tessellate, artist Saba Rifat and WYPW invite you to get creative at home with their Printed Paper Sculptures Kit.
Tessellation and 3D geometric structures feature heavily within Saba’s practice – why not have a go yourself by learning how to develop, carve and print a geometric inspired design of your very own, and see it come to life on the surface of a folded paper structure.
The kit contains all you need to give it a go, including illustrated instruction sheets which should help to get those creative juices flowing! It also contains several key pieces of printmaking equipment which can be used long after your ink and paper has run out so there is lots of scope for this to be the start of your lino printing journey – perfect for the dark evenings just around the corner!
Perfect for beginners or those with a bit of lino-printing knowhow although we would say that due to the process of lino cutting we wouldn’t recommend this kit for the under 12s – sorry kiddo’s you’ll be better suited with one of our other boxes.
