Join Kate and Caro on this 2 day trip taking place on Friday 26th October & Friday 27th October, exploring London filled with art, exploration, and inspiration! Get ready for an enriching experience as we delve into the world of prints and drawings.
Day 1
– 11:30 am: Meet us, Kate Desforges and Caro Pratt, at the V&A’s Cromwell Road entrance foyer. We’ll kick off the journey with an introduction to rooms 40-47, allowing you an hour to sketch and immerse yourself in artistic wonders.
– 12:30 – 1:30 pm: Enjoy a leisurely lunch (to be purchased) and time of your own.
– 1:30 pm: Gather back at the Cromwell Road entrance foyer to proceed to the V&A’s print and drawings study room.
– 2:00 – 3:00 pm: Brace yourselves for an exclusive talk by Senior Curator Zorian Clayton. Delve into the world of prints and drawings as he covers a range of techniques from woodblock prints to etching, screen prints, and more.
– 3:00 – 4:00 pm: Engage with a curated selection of ‘ordered up’ prints from the V&A archive, allowing your creativity to flow freely.
– 4:00 pm: Conclude the day’s activities. Feel free to explore London or organize your accommodation
Day 2
– 1:00 pm: Join us at the Woolwich Print Fair entrance, where we’ll provide you with entrance tickets. Kate Desforges will also offer insights into the Fair and the exhibitor’s experience.
– 1:30 – 3:30 pm: Immerse yourself in the Woolwich Print Fair, a chance to relish art and engage with the vibrant atmosphere.
– 3:30 pm: Meet at the Fair’s exit for a debrief.
