Pride at the Piazza – Celebrate with Print at WYPW

Join us on Saturday 7th June, 1pm–5pm at the Piazza in Huddersfield for Pride at the Piazza a joyful celebration of LGBTQIA+ pride, creativity, and community. We’re marking the occasion with  hands-on printmaking workshops at WYPW, and everyone is welcome to get involved.

Gelli Print Rainbow Bunting Workshop
Saturday 31st May, 11am–2pm
Help us get ready for Pride! Join us in the workshop as we create vibrant rainbow bunting using Gelli plates and CMYK masking techniques. All of the prints will be used to decorate our space for Pride celebrations.

PRIDE Letterpress Badges
Saturday 7th June, 1pm–5pm
During Pride at the Piazza, join us for a drop-in letterpress workshop where you can print your own Pride badge using vintage Adana presses. This is a great opportunity to learn a new technique and take home a one-of-a-kind keepsake.

These workshops are a chance to celebrate, connect, and create something meaningful. Whether you’re a printmaking pro or totally new to the process, we’d love to see you there.

Whilst your visiting why not help support local makers and artists as they showcase their creations as part of our Summer Maker and Print fair that will also be taking place 11am-4pm.
