We’re excited to reveal this years shortlisted artists for the Flourish Award 2025! Each year, Flourish showcases the best in printmaking across the UK, and our panel of distinguished judges plays a crucial role in selecting the most outstanding artists.

What Happens Next?
The Flourish 2025 winner will be announced on the opening night.
We’ll also be announcing the Printmaking in Excellence Student/Graduate award winner as well as the Printmaking in Excellence, runner up & recipient of the Hawthorn Printmakers Award. There will also be a chance for you to get involved with the People’s Choice Award, which visitors can vote on during the exhibition.

You’ll be able to view the shortlisted works in person at the Flourish Award 2025 Exhibition, which opens this July at WYPW at the Piazza Centre, Huddersfield
This exhibition is not only a celebration of talent but also a platform for conversation, discovery, and connection within the printmaking community.

The Judges
This year’s panel brings together leading printmakers, curators, and arts professionals, each offering unique expertise and insight into contemporary printmaking.

How Will the Judging Process Work?
- First Round: All submissions will be reviewed online, with judges evaluating digital images and artist statements.
- Shortlisting: The judges will meet in person to then shortlist the top 10–15 printmakers who will be invited to exhibit their work. (May 2025)
- Final Selection: Judges will review the shortlisted works in person at the Flourish Award exhibition before selecting the overall winner. (July 2025)
