For some, those words bring joy and for others sadness, that the summer (what summer?!) is over. If you are a teacher heading back to school, we’ve got some workshops and twilight inset training for you to start your academic year off with a bang!
After the success of our first twilight inset workshop, we are looking to expand our range of inset courses from printing without a press, tetra-pak printing on a pasta machine, to stencil screen printing. If you would like to know more about these and aren’t already on our teachers mailing list, email vicki@wypw.org to keep up to date.
Here at WYPW we are already getting booked up with school workshops for the year ahead. These are artist led workshops and can happen in school or in our print studio in Mirfield. We are offer lots of print processes from collagraph, lino printing, tetra-pak to screen printing – do get in touch if you’d like to chat about a potential school visit.

Have a look at our in-house course programme to build up your skills – we have some exciting taster workshops throughout September, October and November including Lino printing, Dry point and Soft Ground Etching If you don’t have a press you don’t have to miss out – the monotype from nature workshop could inspire your next project with students.
