Established in 1984, West Yorkshire Print Workshop is the largest open access printmaking facility in Yorkshire. Nestled in the heart of Mirfield, we support, nurture and promote creative talent through the joy of making prints.
We are sorry to say that from Thursday, in line with Government lockdown regulations, we will be once again closing our workshop here at Mirfield and our gallery space at Unit 2 in the Piazza, Huddersfield. The health and safety of our WYPW community was, as always, at the forefront of our decision. We hope to open Unit 2 once again on the 5th December for our upcoming ‘Present’ Christmas show.
The WYPW team will still be busy working away behind the scenes getting our ‘Present’ exhibition stock uploaded to our online shop, so you will still be able to browse and buy all the same lovely handmade gifts and prints for Christmas at the same time as supporting local and regional artists – win win!
Our printmaking courses taking place in November have been postponed but we are still taking bookings for December and in the new year so do pop onto our website and check out our latest printmaking workshops – we have our fingers and toes crossed that we will be able to get you back in and printing soon!
Once again thanks for all your amazing support, we really appreciate it.
Stay safe and keep creative
