We’re so looking forward WOVEN 2021 and seeing this project come to life - can you help?

Support our own @clare_grace_designs by drawing plants and flowers using coffee and twigs - 2 things we’ve got in abundance right now! - and become part of this final piece.

Growing Colour Together is a natural dyeing project for WOVEN.

We have a creative challenge for you that is loads of fun, and also if you want you can submit your work to be part of a larger artwork that will feature in the WOVEN 2021 Festival!

Your Task - We would like you to produce some beautiful flower and plant drawings using natural drawing tools, that you will make, and natural inks made from instant coffee.

And Then - if you are particularly happy with your drawing the artist Clare Grace @clare_grace_designs would love you to send in your images created from the activities to make a printed textile sculpture created using natural printing inks. If you want your work to be included in the sculpture which will be featured in the WOVEN Festival - all you need to do is email a good quality scan or photo to janeh@hatchprojects.org.uk

Remember - all you need is some paper, coffee and a twig to do this activity!

You can find an instructional video and worksheet on the 'Growing Colour Together' section of our website.
